Kyle Wurtzel's "Motown Shaker"

A tribute to The Motown Shaker made famous by the race car body parts fabricator Al Bergler. This car was one of the many through the years that thrilled the Midwest match racing circuit, the Coca Cola Cavalcade match race circuit, and NHRA sanctioned events in which Al achieved runner-ups at the NHRA Winternationals at Pomona, Ca and at the Gaternationals at Gainsville, Fl. The car has been recreated as a tribute to Al and spirit of the years when funny car’s ruled the drag strips. My name is Kyle Wurtzel, along with friends and family we are restoring and will be racing the nostalgia Motown Shaker. The car has a Foster and Humes chassis with a new 1972 Chevy Vega body. It carries a 426 CI Nitro burning Hemi engine built with the outlines of yesterday, but with the safety guidelines of today. Our Pits are always open to spectators and fellow racers. So stop by take pictures, say hi and enjoy the show.
